![]() Agent Z slowly flipped through the rap sheets, pausing only to read the charges: assault and battery, breaking and entering, arson, aiding and abetting a known criminal, fraud, grand larceny, counterfeiting. She smiled: These would do nicely. She punched a few buttons on the phone with her long, red fingernails and called the team's handler, codename Whorecules. "Call the girls, give them the deal ... they do their time, no chance of parole or time off for good behavior, or if they want to come work for us, we'll get them out. Start training them immediately." She sat back and looked at the files again. Many of her operatives – known as Z-Girls to those with enough clearance to know about them at all – didn't survive. Viva, Busch, Spider Baby, they'd all been lost. The ones that did survive were a testament to fear, hard work, and an innate instinct for survival. Z took "promising young ladies" with criminal pasts, those who knew how to steal a car, blow up a building, or hack into a Fortune 500 company network, and gave them a job doing what they did best. Only now they were taught how to do it so quickly that they'd never get caught. Z gave the girls a new purpose in life and a new family. Members of the team patrol the city each night and are sent on clandestine assignments around the world, such as capturing a group of escaped murderesses, neutralizing a South American guerrilla force, and dismantling an evil robot army. There are rumors about them, of course: People swear Z-Girls have saved them while on their nightly sweep of the city. On the streets, they call them the Legion of Zoom, because of the large Z's donning their uniforms and how fast they leave the scene. But, officially, the Z-Girls do not exist. They're simply a group of women with a checkered past. Team Roster |
